This unexpected synthesis is achieved by the monks of Keur Moussa (12 French from the Solesmes tradition and 12 Senegalese). The hymns and mass owe the richness of the melody and rhythm to the French, wolof and serer adaptation of the songs and to the use and technical perfection of the African instruments on which the music is played.
